Last week our installers visited this beautiful property in Milton Abbas to install new windows and sliding doors. Having replaced some windows for these customers several months ago, it was lovely to be asked back to carry out this further work.
We installed Deceuninck Flush Sash windows in English Oak on White Grain with graphite handles. These sleek frames look beautiful against the brickwork. Their colour perfectly compliments the building. The dormer windows also look really stunning. This installation is a wonderful example of how Flush Sash frames can look truly beautiful in both modern settings and traditional builds.
The Flush Sash French doors, a recent addition to the Deceuninck collection, look stylish and neat, their profile matching that of the windows which really does create an elegant and unified aesthetic.
For their cellar windows, our customers opted for aluminium windows powder coated in ‘Schwarzgrau’ colour and glazed with ‘A’ rated units incorporating Cassini pattern glass by Pilkington.
These slim aluminium frames are ideally suited to shallow apertures such as those found in this cellar: they allow for a larger area of glass than you might expect and maximize on light. They are also available in any RAL colour, so the world truly is your oyster when it comes to colour.
This property is a fantastic example of how different colours and materials can co-exist in harmony. Choosing beautiful English Oak lifts the building, really catching the light and providing a tasteful but cheerful appearance. The aluminium frames below subtly showcase their delicate style, their understated elegance peeking through.
