We can supply replacement windows in a huge variety of colours. Coloured PVCu frames are foil wrapped to provide a fantastic wood grain finish. We can also offer powder coated aluminium frames, coated to any RAL colour, so we are sure to be able to offer you a suitable shade for your property.

How do I keep my PVCu windows clean?

Frames are best kept clean by regular washing with warm water and a soft cloth. A small amount of washing up liquid can be added as necessary to remove stubborn dirt, then rinse clean and wipe over with a dry clean cloth. Never use any chemical cleaning agents or abrasive substances, as this will cause damage to the surface finish.

Internal surfaces may discolour if exposed to continuous cigarette smoke or cooking fumes.

What is a composite door?

Composite doors are built for the exterior of your home and are made using a mixture of materials, the combination of which provides strength, robustness, security as well as looking wonderful. Composite doors contain wood and insulating material in their core, which is protected by a weather resilient outer layer. We install Solidor doors, which are the only composite doors in the UK to feature a solid hardwood core, meaning they offer great levels of security, strength and energy efficiency.

Why would I choose a composite door?

Composite doors are strong, long lasting and look great. They are secure, energy efficient and have wonderful aesthetic appeal.

Unlike hardwood doors, the external material of a composite door is weather resistant. Therefore they don’t require varnishing, painting and weather sealing and are long lasting and low maintenance. Plus you can still enjoy the style of a traditional style of door without the upkeep associated with wood: We supply Solidor composite doors, which offer the largest range of door styles and colours in the UK.

What happens after we have accepted your quote?

Once you have accepted our quotation our surveyor Gary will need to visit at a time that suits you to carry out a detailed survey. He will then report all the details back to our office and the order will be processed. Once the order has been delivered to our factory in Crewkerne we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to carry out installation.

Can you match my existing style of window?

We offer an extremely wide range of windows to complement every home using uPVC or Aluminium and our woodgrain finishes give the charm of a natural woodgrain finish. We can offer a selection of colours to suit your home and a popular choice is to have a colour on the outside and white on the inside.

Do you replace glass or do repairs?

Yes, we employ a glazier who can replace your broken down sealed units with condensation free glass into wooden, PVCu, aluminium and crittal glazed frames. Often information that a whole new window is needed because of condensation between the panes is stated but this simply is not true, if the window frame is still healthy the glass is easily replaced at a much lesser cost.

How long is your guarantee for?

We offer a 10 year AllGlass & Glazing Ltd guarantee on our installations and we also offer an insurance backed guarantee from IWA.

AllGlass is a registered member of CERTASS and amongst other building regulations it stipulates that all customers must be offered insurance that covers their replacement window and door installation in the event of the company ceasing to trade. Unfortunately the industry has a history of small and medium sized companies becoming insolvent leaving customers with no guarantee.

Sealed units supplied and installed by AllGlass are guaranteed for ten years. Handles, locks, hinges, letterboxes – all upvc furniture guaranteed for 12 months only. All other products carry their manufacturer’s warranty. Guarantees are only valid as long as all products have been regularly maintained.
